The League of Filipino Students in Solidarity with Egyptian People

LONG LIVE INTERNATIONAL SOLIDARITY! US OUT OF THE MIDDLE EAST!

We the League of Filipino Students stand by our Egyptian brothers and sisters in their struggle to find genuine democracy.

The Philippines and the Middle East may be oceans apart, but we have the same stories. We are all here today for the same reasons: we are all displaced, and forced out of our homelands because of corruption, and greed by our governments.

We need to stand together and be in solidarity with each other’s struggles. We need to demand a government that will serve its people–that will serve us. So that political unrest will end, and our brothers and sisters will no longer be forced to leave their families, their home lands.

LFS would also like to recognize the youth and students of Egypt. You have been an inspiration to us all. You have fearlessly lead the forefront of the demonstrations, and taken advantage of media, and social networks to reveal your country’s true situation. You have been our eyes, and our ears. Your passion, and love for your people has shown us that your country’s future will be in good hands. We stand by you all, and march with you in solidarity until your people and your government are free from US repression!

Long Live international solidarity!
